Striks across the water

Hi Guys whenever it flashes out side i try to get amongst it so here we have a few from the other night.

These were fairly distant and across the waterfront at Nightcliff near Darwin.

Not as spectacular as the last i posted but worthy of a look.

Awesome!

I went chasing last night and it was an abysmal failure. There were so many strikes each minute, but, it was all hidden behind clouds.

I ended up calling it quits at about 2:30 AM.

Hasn't been a storm this way for a LONG while. Lots of rain, but no electrical activity.

Nice shots. The lower cloud in some shots almost looks like an island, and the sky below like water. Interesting visual illusion.

Thank you very much for your comments, yes H, that dose happen a lot and can be frustrating to say the least, I have been lucky of late, but i don't expect it to last that much longer as the dry season approaches, so i best take every opportunity when it arises.
