Good stuff Tom, your Saturn is superb, one of the best I have seen on any forum with a DSLR, well done.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks Trevor.
I've added a comparison image of the satellite scales to the original post.

Hi Tom
I am often surprised as to how the Saturn image looks crisper than Jupiter when taken on the same night - conditions?

Hi Matt,
Jupiter in poor seeing and at about 30 degrees up
Saturn in ok seeing about 60 degrees up.
Saturn is also easier to make look sharper also because it has smoother and more clear cut features.
Cheers,
Tom

Lovely work Tom, I wish my Planets looked that good 20 years ago.
