NGC 3918 - an experiment

I usually avoid this object because it's small and so bright that detail is usually washed out. This time I did it in narrowband and it seemed to come out reasonably well.

Cheers

Steve

Not bad at all Steve! That's a tiny object and you teased out some reasonable detail.

Cheers, Marcus

Thanks Marcus. Initially I thought it was bigger. Might not have bothered with it otherwise but it does show that good detail is possible in objects like this is possible when the seeing was okay which it was for a change.
