Ash, I am not aware of the company of which you speak and would suggest that you stick to a well know reputable company like Bintel in Sydney. see http://www.bintel.com.au/ They have been around for a very long time and are great to deal with, and have significant knowledge in this area.

I have dealt with Bintel for years and have never had a problem, so they have gained a high level of trust.

I just noticed that Telescopes Direct have an ad on the side of the page.
I will have a look at Bintel.

Shows how observant I am Ash.

But then, I never really take any notice of these ads anyway. I have only two preferred astro suppliers in Australia, one being Bintel, and am not looking for any others.

I haven't dealt with TelescopesDirect, but there are many places I've bought from and had no problems. In no particular order:

Domestic:

Andrews Communications
NVT Telescopes
Bintel
BTOW
Sirius Optics

International:
Agena Astro
OPT Corp
Teleskop-Express
Sky's the Limit
Astroshop.eu
Adorama

If I had to pick one that stood out above the rest, it would be Agena Astro.
