47 Tuc

Hi Folks,

Here is an attempt at 47 Tuc.

This image was made from frames made at 60, 15 and 5 seconds (about 20 each). Each frame was made using a Sony A55, a Celestron C8 at f6.3, Pixinsight/Photoshop. Not quite sure about the colour, and next time I'd like to improve the sharpness.

Nice shots Matt.

I like the quality of the Sony A55.

I have a Sony A550 and a Minolta 7D that produce quite nice astro shots.
The older Minolta 7D has very low noise.

Thanks, Ross, Laurie. Yes, the Sony/Minolta cameras do very well. I have the 5D but did had not really tried AP then. I find the live view and articulated screen very helpful.
