Jupiter, Brisbane, 31st January EOS 600D

Taken tonight with a SkyWatcher 12" Goto Dobsonian, 5x Powermate, Canon EOS 600D in 1080p video crop mode. Seeing was fairly good but clouds soon put an end to everything.

The moons are (left to right) Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto - nicely in order on one side of the planet

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Wasn't it a lovely sight!!
I was out with my 10" dob and the 550D last night too. I didn't think to capture a wide field as well.
You definitely go more detail on Jupiter than I did too.
Wonderful work Tom.

How did you rate the seeing?

Really nice work Tom, right up there with the best DSLR work I have seen on any of the other forums.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks everyone. JJJ the seeing was about 7/10 of the best I have seen from Brisbane.

I like the contrasting images of widefield and up-close, nicely done.
