iPad luxury

I've been monitoring my imaging sessions from the comfort of the couch in front of the telly using the iPad.

The laptop sits out next to the scope and using Splashtop I can control the PC from the iPad. Generally I set the run up on the PC and just use the iPad to monitor the guiding and the image capture.

Bloody luxury!

Yeah, it is a pretty good way to do it. I use the (free) logmein app as I also use that to control our remote computers at work. I'll check splashtop out. I see it is now $5.50 instead of $21
