Astrobin / Blog

Hey all,

Over the weekend I spent close to 20 hours outside with my camera, a tripod and a heap of smokes over the two nights. I haven't gotten any startracking mount thingos yet (Technical terms for the win) or anything really, just a standard lens (17-55mm?). I'm going to go out into my complex drive way again tonight to keep at it haha (Focusing is a problem but fixing that should be as easy as buying a shutter release cable. I think it's me pressing the button that makes the frame move slightly)

Anyway, I want a place where I can keep all my attempts, failures, etc safe and sound. Currently have them in dropbox but that is just safe keeping. I was thinking, due to a decent amount of spare time I'm going to have, of making a blog (Done heaps of them before) or would it be a waste of time and using something like Astrobin would be easier?

Thanks,

Astrobin is the place. Easy enough to use but has al the right boxes to fill in about equipment used, photo details and settings etc. They can also plate resolve widefeilds to identify the stars etc captured. I only put my good stuff up on there though, there is some prety awesome pix shown.
