I stayed up in Sunshine Beach for Christmas, and took a drive/walk up Mt. Tinbeerwah just behind Noosa. Doesn't look very high from down below, but once you get up there, it is magic.
I took heaps of shots as the sun went down, trying lots of different angles/focal lengths/exposures etc and even tried some bracketed shots to HDR later, but was not very happy with what came out of that. This is a single exposure with some tweaking in Lightroom 4. The best of a mixed bag.
It was blowing a gale up there that day. If you were up on the little raised platform near the cliff, you had to hold on. I had to hold the tripod, to stop it from going over.
