Pleadies - M45

With bad weather this is my first image in several months, happy to finally get out even if it did take 2 days to get 3 hours of usable data.

Taken with my G2-8300 Moravian camera and W.O Megrez 72mm with Televue reducer/flattener.

1Hr each of RGB with Darks and Flats. Captured with Sequence Generator Pro and processed with Photoshop CS3.

I'm not sure if there isn't some gradient around the star cluster, it's different on two monitors I have.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

That's a fine image, Geoff - sharp, with nice detail. I can see a slight gradient, but it doesn't effect the quality of the main structure.

Well done, Geoff! There's a lot of faint dust in that area and I think that might explain some of the "gradient."

Cheers,
Rick.

Nice one Geoff. Perhaps a smidge black clipped, but probably city data? I'm just jealous because you've managed to do ANY imaging though

Thanks guys for the kind comments, it was great just to get out and fire up the rig again.

I wondered about the gradient as my processing is still a little rusty after all this time
