sh2-292 + some of Seagull

First image from Ballandean.
I under estimated how dull this was. Took a lot of stretching to get much out of it. These are all 10min subs. 20min subs probably would have been better.

Visible in the image:
- sh2-292 (emission nebula)
- IC2177 (Seagull nebula, also emission nebula)
- ngc2343, ngc2335 (open clusters)
- vDb95 (reflection nebula)

ED80, HEQ5, QHY9 CCD, orion miniguider
LRGB: 150x40x40x40

PixInsight had horrible problems when lum combining with RGB on sh2-292. I know what the cause is, but i do not know how to fix it.
When combining, if chromatic noise reduction is turned on, it destroys the bottom right center of sh2-292. I don't know why. Turning off noise reduction removes the issue but the image is horribly noisy, thanks to lack of color data. Tried playing with it in PS but just looked even more abnormal, so left it.

Comments welcome, especially on things such as color.

Another good one, Nathan!

I almost always do chrominance noise reduction on the RGB before combining the luminance, typically using a mask to give more control.

Cheers,
Rick.
