Carina with TAl 200k and ImagesPlus

Had a go at reprocessing some images taken with my TAL200k at 1790mm and F9 with images plus. The only correction was with flats. In camera noise reduction etc.
If I have posted this before sorry, as with non stop cloud getting very grumpy. Or is that more grumpy than usual?

The TAL200k is somewhere between a SC and a RC. You judge. Zoom in to see the detail.

When I get my mount working properly with the Astromeccanica motors, I hope to do better. More than half the frames were discarded due to tracking errors.

It is nice is it not.

Only sixteen! So the signal to noise is enhanced by a factor of four. You should have seen the ones that got away!

only 16 pics and you got your image so nice and clear! im getting really grumpy myself also with the Melbourne weather.. my mount is getting abit dusty .. i even setup wireless remote desktop so i can do bit of astrowork indoors, just can't wait till the sky clears up abit. might grab your idea and reprocess some of my old pics.
