9 - the rear four are pairs with Rudolph at the front
And before anyone points it out, yes, Santa must be inverted to appear upright in the eyepiece!

Rudloph isnt a real reindeer anyway.
He was created as a marketing ploy by a depertment store in the USA, around 1920 (?) I think.
Pretty good job throught the scope with the iphone though. Have tried this many times and still cant get it!!!
