If the sky stays clear - out in the backyard with my 127ED, just so I can say: "I was there and saw it for myself"

Although if it does end, I probably won't be able to say that at all!!

I will be in my concrete bunker, conserving candles, wearing my tinfoil hat, praying to the Norse pagan god Baldur and using my periscope to look for the rescue UFO

OR

I will be watching Total Recall (the new one) with a cup of tea cos Skippy Sky said the cloud cover is appalling

Hi Nightstalker,

Interesting video clip. Hate to be a party pooper, but I'm going to do it any way.

Recently I saw a post that stated, " If you study physics, you will cease to enjoy Sci Fi movies". Reason being that the spectacular stuff just goes too far beyond the realms of physics.

My understanding of blackholes is that there would be much fireworks as matter is sucked in. Not a quiet rumbling of earth falling into itself. Also a black hole requires massive amounts of matter to effectively form a BH.

However I did enjoy watching the video. Its well done, just missing the sparklers, thats all.

Er,, there's a disturbance here. Many of the neighbours are out. That rumbling? And again, louder .... Bye!

What'll I wear for this event
Must go charge the camera.
Wait.
Apparantly I won't be around to see the results.
I better be able to finish my Corona before this thing hits otherwise I'm going to be really mad.
