My first Jupiter image

Hi there!

Here is my first Jupiter picture image last night with a DMK41. The focus isn't the best and it's noisy but I am very happy with it, as quite a lot of detail can be seen. Just wanted to share it with you.

Not bad at all. It is challenging with the DMK41 due to its lower frame-rates.
Well done.

What are you using for stacking?

Thanks for your encouragements.

Peter, the stacking was done in registax. I will try again in autostakkert tonight. However, the raw data not being great to start with, I don't think this will make a substantial difference.

By the way, do you know of any technique I could use to colourise a monochrome picture of Jupiter?
