I've seen several Deer in the bush between the twin lanes near the "donut" at port macquarie (near Macca's for the un-enlightened)

and yes there is a warning sign

Now the MRD are just as bad with those Kangaroo Signs along Tonkin Highway. Maybe they should be out conducting road safety lessons for the local Kangaroo population, then if they don't abide by the rules there will be a culling.

Man if only there was a kangaroo crossing sign just where I hit that roo near Armidale on the way up to Cairns. I might have slow down if I knew it was going to cross right there.
