The Sydney Observatory

Here it is, proof that once upon a time Sydney had dark skies

Finishing work at 7am in the city meant that I had to wait a couple of hours before any shops opened for me to start buying pressies, so I went for a nice walk around 'the rocks' which inevitably led me to The Sydney Observatory. I love this place it's by far my favourite building in the whole city and dream of working there someday...

You're right, Carlos-it is a magnificent building-lets hope some future govt doesn't decide to use the land for something else
