Bouncing around at 90kg. Just cannot consistently get under 90kg. But my clothes are very loose now. I'll keep at it.

Great work astroman, good to seeing you losing the kg's but not too quickly. I plan on slowing down a bit now and trying not to stress about it as much seeing as I've lost the initial baggage and am in the 70's again... preliminary weigh in this morning of 78.9kg Very happy about this. Now for a week of calorie cycling to shock my body into action again and downwards I go hopefully!

Eric, it is possible you have hit a bit of a plateau. Try spicing up your exercise a bit, whether it is walking a different route or adding weight/intervals as well as changing things up food wise or adding in snacks and have more of small meals. Whatever works for you really, should see the scales moving again

This is what I'm facing at the moment too and every time I do I always stress so much about it even though I know it is inevitable for some people. You are probably still losing cm's anyway and toning up and that is still a very positive thing!

Actually, getting back to any exercise at all, after the move to Sydney and getting set up in new home and job, would be good. A few weeks, then I tackle the gym. Oh, just remembered - I brought the rowing machine up! Woo hoo - must set that up in a spare room this weekend.

Woohoo! Rowing machine will be great and the gym will be even better I've been el slacko this week and didn't exercise at all on Tuesday and was suppose to get up this morning to walk but didn't...hoping I'll make up for it tonight. Had a huge snack attack last night too, just having a blah week. Hope it passes and next week is more promising!

Finally broke through the 76kg barrier. Weighed in at 75.9kg, and am extremely happy. I have been doing hiking in the Adelaide hills, roughly doing 14-16km each Tim. Also been doing 30 minute walks every day when I can. Works out to just over 2km per day.

My weight has always been a battle for me, and even moreso lately as Warwick would eat chips and things in front of me and of course, I would cave in and have some.

So, last Tuesday (2/8/2011) he went to the doctor for the flu. His weight was 115kgs and his BP 165/110. So the dr put him on BP meds - which have worked well, he's back in the normal range, and we have BOTH gone on the health and beauty kick.

On 1 August when I weighed myself I had crept back up to a depressing 120kgs. We are both 170cms (5'7") so both of us were way over normal. My BP is generally about 130/85-90, a bit high but considering my weight not too awful.

So, we weighed again on Sunday, Warwick was down to 110.6, I was 119.4. But I on Wednesday was down to 111.4! I'll probably have a bounce back though, our official weigh in is Sunday. I've virtually given up carbs, so hard t do for me, even though I only have gluten free anyway, and we have been walking almost every day.

I'm so pleased. Will keep you posted. Be nice to be under 100kgs by Xmas.

Nothing to be embarrassed/ashamed about Jen, we are all family here. I am so glad I spend 99% of the time at the viewfinder end of a camera, that way no one gets to see the results... But I must admit it would be good seeing the result from when I was 86kg to now though....

Great to see you both powering through and getting some amazing results! It's always a great feeling eating the right foods and exercising, sometimes we take it for granted but it's what our body really needs Keep us updated, I love hearing about other people's success!

As Andrew said, nothing to be embarrased about chicky! I always find it so shocking to see before and after shots, even if it's progress shots with 5kg in between. The difference is phenomenal! I have seen a massive difference, especially in my face and my upper body. Even my legs are looking slimmer but I've been blessed with gigantic thighs so it will take a lot of hard work to get rid of them I might join you Jen, with some photos, just need to find the least embarrasing ones first

Andrew, you are doing such a fantastic job, you must be so happy! I have had a bit of a bad couple of weeks with flu, bad eating and little to no exercise so I was back up to 80.3kg on Tuesday morning but as of this morning I'm back in the 70's, down to 79.8kg A bit of a set back but I am determined to continue moving forward now and feel really renewed in my efforts which is great! I am getting my hair done in early September so my goal by then is at least 77kg, hopefully less

Need to update this thread more to keep me accountable I have also begun a two months healthy food and exercise challenge which means NO bad foods, treats or anything and no alcohol for two whole months. And at least 5 days of exercise every week. One week down, 7 to go

I'm not a big drinker any more anyway, Jen. In fact, I haven't really been drunk since June last year. And that was a very very BAD day Alcohol just doesn't really agree with me. Of course, as soon as the weather starts warming up again, it is going to be a lot harder to resist the bubbly cold beer in the fridge http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/....es/happy04.gif

But I have just really gone of the rails of late and decided this is a good way to undo that and get some results again I still have just under 20kg to lose to reach my ultimate goal so I need to get my butt in gear

Ohhh boy, I just found a photo from when I first started losing weight back in 2006 http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/....eyepopping.gif It's only a headshot but wow. I look like a chubby cherub!

Good work and congratulations to all of you.

I ended up stopping my quest due to work and personal crap. As of last night, I'm back at the gym. Feel good already.

The goal is to tone up and lose a bit of flab in the next 2.5-3 months.

At this point in time, I don't have any specific weight range in mind.

Back down to 84.5kg again and counting! Hoping that the lovely people on here could keep tabs on me so that I do not gain again and so I lose this weight for good!
