I played with Slug Guns ( air rifles ) and home made " sling shots " and caused some grief for my parents ... lots of broken windows and dead chooks in our neighborhood..... got away with most of it ... but they knew.....

"Fess up", what dangerous and stupid things did you do when you were young and no one was looking.

Well I rode untamed horses, through the bush, bareback when I was 12 years old, with my older brothers. Made cubby houses in the bush, got tied up inside, and my brothers torched it, and then rescued me whilst playing Cowboys in the Bush.

Made canoes out of old sheets of Galvanized tin and paddled around the two dams we had and sunk many, and I could not even swim then.

Now you guys have a go.

All I can say..... too true.....
As a kid I did some stupid things, but never got on the tv for my antics!!!!
I'm sure when I was a kid, the stunts I would perform would have ended up deadly for some other kids.....I was lucky.....
These days with all the media ( and increased population ) the stunts are magnified by some order of magnitude, by digital distribution. So more people are aware of it, and the whole Moral drama gets magnified too.....
Bring in the media ( hunting for a good story) and it just escalates.

Dont mind the concept of Planking myself, as long as it is safe.
The first I heard of it was on JJJ radio(maybe a month ago), in an interview with a rugby player ( i believe it is The Wolfman - I'm not a rugby fan.....) . I believe ( I could be wrong seeing Snoopy was the first ) he was the one to start it all and got noterierty on JJJ.
The ball started rolling ( of the plank) then......hehhehehehe

Woolworths is sacking staff for Planking on the job.

Are these idiots for real? They are at work, and they are taking photos of each other planking on display racks, on top of meat grinders, etc.

http://www.news.com.au/national/wool...-1226059282699

and students suspended at QLD schools for planking on high fences etc at school:

There is nothing wrong with Planking......
It's the mates/friends who **** it up for the their mates, by not stopping them from hazardous situations/ egging them on .
There is no need for banning Planking........
Put those idiots/halfwits/dumb****s etc (who push their so called mates to the extremes) in jail..................

And for those who like to plank on a moving object.........USE A NAIL GUN TO HOLD U DOWN......you are a plank aren't you????????:s hrug:

I got into the explosive things when i was a tacker even in to rockets (of the back yard variety not purchased with a little motor) riding my BMX as fast as i could over massive jumps just because i saw the older boys do it. Damn planking is sitting perfectly still.

I agree with Peter the Darwin awards needs something to fill its pages, so if they want to plank on moving cars, on 7th floor building and don't have the brains to go mmmm if I stuff up and fall i think i might be in a weee bit of strife! then yay for humanity!

we seem to be safe guarding our stupid people for some reason so we can increase the amount of stupid hanging around. A great movie to high light this is "Idiocracy" "Its got what plants crave, its got electrolytes"

here is the link so you can piss it laughing! Here give a special read to the first sentence of the first paragraph!

I wish this whole little media 'storm in a teacup' would just plank off!
Can't Lindsay Lohan just pinch something else so that we can get some real news!?

I'm just following you guys for news, the TV don't work to well out the bush where we are, lucky to have the net today, and that is because we are close to a mine site.

To be honest haven't seen the telly for quite some time, so have no idea what is happening out there.

planking

Why? Because they are idiots. Sad for the relatives and others that may have loved them. Does improve the gene pool though. Cheers, Graeme.
