Aeroguard is disgusting , I refuse to use that manure wannabee potion on my skin. I hate the feeling of it on my skin, it's exactly like grease, and that putrid smell, not to mention its evil molecules making their way onto my expensive glass....

Got out of bed this morning a beautiful blue sky gentle breeze birds where a singing.... Now I know what they where singing "set up your scope sucker here come the clouds".
We now have 90% cloud cover and showers in the SW. Who said they hated clouds? Oh that right everyone...

Just looked at the radar for Sydney and surrounds. Not good for the next three days, bummer!!!!
The remnants of that cyclone in WA looks like it is going to smother us for a while.
Maybe new year, but then it will be full moon ahead. Oh well!!!!!!!!!

I'm hearin' ya.
The last three days here have been really clear during the day and as soon as dusk arrives so rolls in those &$^#%$#^% clouds.
Frustrating as it is.
Three days? I reckon we've had one clear night in the last three weeks. Every night where it was clear during the day the clouds rolled in with sunset.

looked promising earlier today but now it appears to be getting more and more overcast by the second What a disgrace Even though there is still some 5 hours till dark, it looks like an absolute writeoff atm

Just wrote up an observing list "just in case", but looks more and more likely it'll be used as toilet paper

I HATE CLOUDS

You Mexicans don't have an exclusive right to complain about clouds. I've had one sucker hole in the last couple of weeks, and that lasted for about an hour. There might have been an hour or two a couple of times just before sunrise, but that's no use on a work day.

Solar observing seems to be the way to go. Most days have been clear - up until the Xmas weekend.

Victoria looks like an astronomer's paradise compared to the tropical muck that's been sweeping down into northern NSW.

Well, it's that season. I actually like rain they bring life, espeacially to crisp dry yellow lawn we used to have and pool needing fill. But that was before I got scope. It's about time they leave. EveryBody no-cloud dance

Haha apparently this weekend is supposed to be a good one for Syd/N.S.W !! Hot and dry in during the day, making no clouds for the night

ClearSkies,
Sebastien.
