Anyway weather looking ok so far:

While not completely certain, I am 63.2789% confident that I will attend.

If so I will bring along my 12.5 in Discovery Dob and assorted eyepieces etc.

I hope the weather (and my wife) cooperate with my plans...

I am assuming that the earlier map is sufficient for an idiot (me) to find the place...keeping in mind that finding my way out of a wet paper bag is sometimes a challenge...can someone tell me who the "best" emergency direction giver is just in case I do get hopelessly lost...

Thanks!

Would be great to see you (and your dob!) there, Scott! The map is very easy to follow and will get you there, however if you get lost give me a call. PM me and i'll give you my mobile #.

It is okay to be honest and say mostly the Dob and eyepieces (11 Nag T6, 24 Pan and 7 Pentax XW and 2.5 Powermate)...I am used to that...

My own Mother used to claim that she had to tie a bone around my neck to get the dog to play with me...

Narayan,

Andrew is going to Ilford (AS of NSW site) for the weekend unless the weather is bad Friday and clears Saturday in which case he will join us at Kulnurra.

Weather does look great!

I'll be there at 6:30pm tonight, some people get there before dark to set up (5ish), others any time after that.

Bring a red light, your scope + eyepieces.

Follow the map, you'll find the entry and you'll see the cars parked in the paddock across from where you enter.

Louie is usually among the first there, save me a spot Louie!

As explained to Mike on the phone I probably won't be there till 8pm or thereabouts. I am bringing a dew shield for Mike and a sheet of HIPS plastic that would be sufficient to make a dew shield for an 8" dob if anyone is interested. C U all there

PS I will be scopeless as the wife has her car at work and thats what I normally use to transport my scope. It is finished however, well almost.
