I missed seeing the comet last night Mike. So thoughtful of you to ask.
But I'll make sure I catch the eta aquarids this week, don't need a scope for that.

Hey Jeanette, comets are a bad omen after all arent they!?
Your not alone , I re-aggrevated and old, kinda healed knee injury while on a comet chasing/imaging trip in may 2004.
Tripped while running back and forth in the dark (in the outback middle of nowhere) on and old dead tree/large branch laying on the ground.
Its still not much better after two years - and is now permenantly twice the size of my other normal knee - would require 6-12 months intensive physiotherapy to fix - cant handle/afford that much boring physio again tho, would rather be in constant pain and periodically a limping gimp when it flares
Hope yours isnt as bad as that! Good Luck (physio does fix most things tho)
PS thats why I always think/mention the Moby ****/ captain ahab analogy

Good news, The doc says the knee isn't broken.
It should be fine in 3 weeks or so. Got to keep it strapped, apply heat packs and keep it mobile.
What a relief.

Excellent news, Jeanette. First job when you're up and about: move the bloody hose!

Fantastic news Jeanette. I'm really happy for you that it turned out so well considering how bad it could have been.

I hope you haven't told the hubby and kids yet. A few more days of being waited on hand and foot wouldn't go astray

OWWWWW!
Who would ever think that a backyard could be a dangerous place?
(Now... where did I leave that rake?)

Hope you're better soon.
