Robin that is very nice. Going to use it as my desktop for a while.
Seeing how good you guys are just makes me impatient to get my own astro-photo gear.
Thanks for showing us.

Repro is incredible! Love the colours. I don't normally go for this palette but when it comes off, it's just smashing.

Richard Gamble - It sure is. You can see it as a bright knot in the Milkyway, just "above" the Southern Cross. Looks great in binoculars, especially from a dark site.

Cheers,
Cam

Thanks everyone, that's the first time in a long time that I've captured enough data in a single night to make a complete NB image. It has been taking days and days to get enough data due to clouds. Being able to image till dawn seems to be a rare thing these days

It's a learning curve this wavelength ordered palette thing..but it also allows for such freedom of expression. Your journey is moving along nicely Robin, great job .

Cheers guys. I'm thinking focal length used can make as big a difference to the image as anything else. That tarantula I did last month looked weird at 600mm while a lot of the images of it on line look fine with just the main nebula full frame and that's something you can't really see unless you shoot it and combine it.

Back to sleep now, it looks like clouds and rain for a week

Robin,

Congratulations on IOTW!

I really, really love the starless version. What a beautiful work of art. The colours are just perfect. One to print out, mate!
