I am happy to put up with most Winter conditions: frost, snow, cold temperature even rain and cloud (sorry Sab), but NOT wind!

grrrrr clouded over right on cue. But knowing my luck, and the fact that the scope is spending yet another night in exile in the spare room, it is sure to clear up within the hour.

Oh yeah, and the BOM has "sunny" forecast for Wednesday, which, by incredible odds, happens to be full moon. Who woulda thunk it???? Even the moon itself is at it's least interesting when it's full, how bloody ironic

Sab, look on the good side. He could've made Ballarat the capital
He was originally going to make Williamstown the capital, but geez . . . Ballarat!

Seems like this guy was purposefully hunting down the worst possible climates in Australia to set up his colonies

Lovely sunshine atm, (contradicting the BOM's forecast of cloud and showers, but what else is new?) but will it last into tonight? Might still go out inspite of the full moon, find some globs and planetaries I reckon.

Infact last night was pretty good, the cloud didn't hang around too long so yeah pretty much missed out, naturally.
