Stinky ( I cannot take that name seriously) the Australian Act is pretty specific about copyright, we are not like the US at least in this regard. So long as I can prove I was the first to express this image in its material form I have copyright. That is very easy to do. I have the orginals in safe keeping. However, this is really a moot point, I don't make any big money from this yet and if I ever did I might consider other ways of protecting my work.

Yes I think effort in development much better than effort in something that is a non-issue. If you are lucky enough to have an issue - well done!
