Thanks so much John and Carl LOL Carl! Better twice I reckon!
Wow - talk about blown away. My ex wife Jenny just rolled up with a book collection she's been trying for months to put together for me. What a good stick she is. I'm quite frankly speechless. Thanks honey!
It's an older series that Time Life did on photography. It's a brilliant read, and still incredibly relevant today in the digital age. Technique is technique.
The puggies? Well.. yes! They confabbed with my wonderful ex mother-in-law Gale to get me this fantastic (and rare) teal coloured early 20th century Swedish oil lamp for my collection. They also worked with my brother Steven and his wife to convert an old box of 8mm film from the late 50's and early 60s that my father took of their wedding, me growing up and a few places we lived around the world back then. He's whacked it all onto DVD and I can't believe that I'm watching footage of our family that I've never seen before. Talk about emotional...
All good! ... especially the beautiful bottle of '02 Saltram Cabernet Sauvignon from Carol & Debbie from MAS. Mmmmm!!!!!!!!!!
What a great idea converting all your old media to DVD, very special gift. Happy birthday Chris Cheers
Cheers Mike - and thanks! Not sure about IISAC this year, I'm still trying to wrap my head around my work schedule for the rest of the year. Hopefully yes! Congrats on your Eureka Awards result by the way - top effort.
