I'm fine Liz. We're on a hill looking down on all the action. Oh, my garage has flooded. Glad I had a tidy up the other week and got all my boxes of books up off the ground.

The SES are stating that the flood peak is expected this afternoon around 4pm and is expected to be 8.2-8.3 meters. In the sixties the creek peaked at 7.8 meters and the Creek was 7 - 8 kilometers wide so this flood may break all records for us yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
There as been forced evacuations of people who didnt want to leave their houses, I have been trying to get SES to evacuate an older couple from across the road from me (92 and 88) who have refused to leave their lowset house, but they cant get into the area yet.

We are coping well floods have receded now the cleanup. We had our cleanup within hours of the water going down but a lot of people are still going 2-3 days later.
I think we all need to move to Pandora.
