your focus is very good, i will have a few tweaks of the colour.

Yes Mike, it is lacking colour. The thing with me is I really don't like the green rings! Their supposed to be blue but I can't seem to get that using the refractor. Oh well.

Ta Ving...I spend at least 15-20 mins on trying to get the sharpest focus I can get.

As I think I mentioned in another thread somewhere, I usually goto the nearest star & focus on that & then go back to the planet & ignore what the planet looks like on the laptop....sometimes it will look out of focus even after knowing you have good focus from using the star. Seeing conditions no doubt come into play here perhaps.

Hi Asi - how did I miss this one. You're doing marvels with that 6in refractor

It's so sharp and hardly a trace of chromatic aberation at all - beautiful stuff!

That comes from being a collimation MANIAC Robert!! (yes even on a refractor I spend over 50% of the time tweaking collimation) ...... ..... ...
