Glad to see your lady is improving. Scary thing to happen to you both. The para's and medical staff are real hero's.
I have a stent in my right carotid after losing sight in my eye, scared the hell out of me.

A terrible and frightening event for both of you, Justin. Glad to hear it didn't turn out too badly in the end. Best wishes to your wife for a speedy recovery.

Cheers,
Rick.

Just saw this post Justin. I don't have a very good record for holidays so I do hope everything just keeps getting better. It's amazing what the medicos can do.
Good luck with it all.

I'm glad the paramedics were efficient, and a plane was available.
I cannot imagine what it is like for you two, but you have my best wishes for a full recovery, and a future without further problems.

Trev
Thanks Trev!

It's a surreal experience.

Hope your dearly beloved has a speedy recovery Justin.
For a regional hospital Nambour is excellent. (My wife worked there in Cardiac Care and Medical Imaging for 10 years and has many friends there. While you're there you can marvel at my handiwork as well ..... I supervised the concrete formwork on the new section).
Best wishes for the future.
Thanks Matt!

Your right, excellent care at Nambour.
They keep us informed on every step taken, very reassuring.
Currently sitting in the new wing, good to be in such an up
to date coronary unit.

A friend had a similar loss of muscle with his attack , took a while for him to
recover fully , he was sitting on his surfboard , last thing he remembers as he was falling into the water was another near him looking around with a puzzled look at the pounding he was doing on his board as he couldn't speak.
Thanks Graham!

The speed which everything happens is frightening.

Yes, no doubt about the para's and medical staff.
Did you regain your sight??
I hope so.

I'm glad my daughter is not too far away, she drove me down to Nambour. Her experience as a police officer helped calm me greatly.

Thanks Doug!

You had similar experiences I presume?
Kathy is improving each day but it's a real balancing act though.

Justin.
