A great looking photo Paul.

Great colour and detail, but still keeping that "natural" look that many M42 photos lose.

Nice composition too.

Ross.

Well done Paul. Very contrasty with great colours and textures. Some interesting wisps of deep blue in there near centre that I've not seen before. A little clipping at the black end makes the background sky quite dark.

Thanks guys I really appreciate you taking the time to write a comment.

Steve the typo is sorted.

Very nice, Paul. I like the sharpness and crispness of the cloud detail.

The colour balance is great (as the image too for 3hrs!). Colours feel immediately natural ala Malin/AAO was first impression that struck me.

Lovely Paul. Simply love the saturated colour & balance on this one.

Hi Paul,
The larger image is a blow out! I think you have nailed it for a "quicky!"
I very much enjoyed taking in the view.

Paul

"not too bad" is a rather understated review. Mine would be "mastery of technique coupled with true emotion..." I hope to one day gain a small percentage of what you seem to do so easily, which is the mark of a virtuoso.

Amazing image!
Sorry Paul but can anyone else see that spooky grey face just to the right of the running man? (or is it famous and I'm revealing my ignorance?!)
