Yeah I thought it might be, but the field of view is what I was driving at.

Great looking closeup photo Mike.

Very good detail.

The new camera shows great potential.

Good luck.

Ross.

Thanks Ross! Yes, I am pretty excited about it and am madly compiling a possible's list to shoot with this awesome little camera I had good seeing on the first night I used it but only for about an hour before the clouds rolled in, and I saw the potential then

Pretty cool. I didn't realise how tiny this thing was until I saw the wide field. Noice.

Yes it's small, as I said, 3' X 2' or a couple of Jupiters

Hi Big Louie

The cooling is said to be 30 delta, plus I have the extra external cooling fan so can probably get more than that. In the end it is such a clean noiseless chip not sure super low cooling will be all that necessary anyway...? I am running her at -20C at the moment

Hi Mike

Hehe!I've forgotten how clean those chips are! any vibrations from the extra fan? I'll be super interested to know how It performs during the summer months.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some kick ass galaxy shots from you!

I think it will have no problems, the chip is so clean that even running at -5 or even zero will be ok

I am hanging for some clear weather now to take her for a good run

Mike
