'Second light' 60mm LUNT

6 panes with the DMK21 & a 1.5X drizzle just to see if data from pretty ordinary seeing is going to take it.

Well done John. The Lunt looks to be working well and the processing is looking good.

Your getting into this Solar work big time, smashing results. Seems like your getting on well with the Lunt60.

John.

Thanks guys. Obviously still in the experimental stages but I think I can already tell, this combo is going to knock out some nice finals.

This one was with the 0.6 MOGG 1.25" FR on the DMK21. 2 panes. It was also 1.5X AS2 drizzled up in size, which kind of knocks out the very fine detail & makes it slightly more contrasty. This was the only set I had a chance to get proms with, blasted clouds..

For me John that last shot is the way to go.
Detail and highlights will come soon enough.

It would be hard to get more from a 60mm aperture.

Nice one

Last one. 0.6 FR reduced, 2 panes. Not much point in shooting at prime with a 6 paner if I can get this result..After saying that, forget about getting a big image like that first one posted here coz it won't be happening. I'll still aim for 6 pane mosaics with this current setup.

60 stacked.

Very nice results (as usual!).
Bear in mind that the internal etalon in the Lunt 60 is not much bigger than the one in the PST.......
Interesting comments about the lack of sweet spot....Hmmmm need to think about that....
