Hi Stefan you have the best of ALL worlds there with all the different operating platforms .

The link below is the best link to let people know how to clear the com ports out before installing any Bluetooth
so the com number is low like com 3 or 4

Near Horsham.

Yes I used that link to clear out all the old com numbers I had up to com 35 now and again I clean it out only takes 30 seconds to do it and it saves SOOOOOOOOOOO Much time no scratching the head anymore hope others see this and do the same as some programs like stellarium and the sky and a lot of other programs won't work till you clean it out then like Magic all works like it should.
Also let me know how long you want the cable from the Nexstar hand controller to the Bluetooth Adaptor I custom make Cables As Well !!

Hi,

How do these units connect to Skywatcher HEQ5 or EQ6 mounts? Through the handcontroller, or directly to the mount through RJ45/DB9 connections?

Hi the EQ5/EQ6 Bluetooth Adaptor Has 2 connectors on it A RJ45 For the EQ5 Mount And A DB9 For the EQ6 And a Switch to go between what mount you are using . I hope this explains it for you and yes it connects directly to the mount not to the hand controller.
