Very nice image Eric I reckon you could upscale that quite a bit. Your best Saturn yet I would say!

Thanks guys.

Yes, it's possibly my best, although the original TIFF file looks noticeably sharper that this png one.

Cheers,

Eric

Nice work Eric, but why so little amount of frames captured?

Thanks John.

For some reason each time I try to take 3000+ frame AVis the file becomes unreadable and can't be processed in AviStack. Otherwise I would grab more data.

Cheers,

Eric

I might suggest using Autostakkert instead then, Eric. These days I shoot for 4 mins at least, stacking 1800 minimum but that depends on the seeing. In great seeing I've stacked as many as 6K frames.

very nice image Eric. have you tried using drizzle stacking to get some extra resolution? - looks like the data should support 1.5x. regards ray

Looks like nice data Eric but only stacking 1/3 of the frames would suggest it was very ordinary seeing. The very small images scale will generally make the final result look better.

Is there any particular reason you are using AVIStack?

Clearly AutoStakkert is vastly superior, so long as you run your avi's through Castrator first.

Regards
Trevor
