here is my effort from todays Partial Eclipse
one of the shots from max coverage lunt single stack 30sec grab, stacked autostakkert and wavelets in registax6, then coloured in photoshop
oh and to balance i took a grab from the other side to make it widescreen
reminds me of pacman

Nice work but I reckon it could be sharper...Unless the seeing was ordinary?

Stellar shot, David!
Can you please list the equipment you used to capture this? Was it one 30sec exposure?
Cheers!

it was a Lunt 60 single stack with a DMK41 camera
[DMx 41AU02.AS]
Frame Divisor=1
Resolution=1280x960
Frame Rate (fps)=15.00
Colour Space / Compression=Y800
Exposure=-8
Brightness=32
Gamma=45
Gain=260
the raw video was run through Autostakkert and the best 100 frames were then stacked. the resultant tif file was then run through registax 6 and wavelets applied and then off to photoshop to colour in the mono image with red 1.8 green 0.68 and blue 0.15 and then saved for the web as a smaller jpeg for posting

That is a great shot David, well done.
I got cloud and rain with an occasional glimpse at school but no pics.
