Ngc 5189

I was waiting for M20 to clear the shed tonight, and thought I'd image "something" while I waited.

I didn't know anything about this Planetary. It's quite pretty I think.
6x10 minute subs with the QHY10 and RC.

Are the stars a bit too yellow?
Nicely done on the neb though.
I've not seen nor imaged this one yet.

Yes they are a bit yellow I think. I may have overdone the curves a bit to bring the colour in the nebula out

A great result, Erik! This is such an exquisite target which isn't easy to get good resolution on, so I must commend you. As others have identified, colour balance could do with some work. It certainly looks like the data is all there, just minor tweaks needed. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Jase I did have a bit of trouble with the colours. I found it hard to bring the colour out in the nebula, without over saturating the stars.
