Saturn April 19-20th QHY IR + DFK Colour

Tried out the new colour QHY5L-ll for the first time but had major colour balance issues plus horrid seeing (now figured it out for next time).

Anyhow seeing did improve for a 20 min slot so shot IR with the mono QHY and a colour DFK capture.

1st image QHY IR+ DFK Colour

2nd DFK Colour.

Taken at 23 degrees elevation with 3x barlow (plus extension for DFK)

Turns out the colour balance issue with the colour QHY was down to AS!2 auto colour selection. Selecting "force GRBG" fixed it so here is a 1st light with that cam (only 500 frames stacked as seeing was very poor)

The other image is a 125% upscale of 26 mins data from the 3 cams QHY colour, QHY mono IR & DFK colour.

Well captured images Stuart, especially for the low altitude you have to contend with.

I like the 125er. You will have a ball when Saturn climbs a bit higher.
The colour comes out different in my DBK21-618.

Thanks guys! Sadly Saturn does not get above 25 degrees in the UK so not much to look forward too lol I increase saturation in image analyser and also use colour noise reduction so maybe that's why my colours are different and the IR influence too.
