Got some more data Sunday night and this time my guiding was a lot better (for a little while anyway) after a few tweaks on the worms and the mount.

I did 63x3min but kept only the best subs. Image scale is 0.63" per pixel.
90mm refractor + FFC x3 so 1800mm FL. Next I'll try with an AO which should make life a lot simpler.

I've got some pretty cool details this time and some really faint stars so I put a 1:1 field here.
And there's a 50% high res here too, bit easier to download.

Thanks Alistair. The FFC is the Baader Fluorite Flatfield Converter. It's a very good barlow. AO is adaptive optics yeah. I should really try to use the one I have at that FL to improve star size. My guiding is a lot jumpier right now. Problem is weight and balancing. Might try with my newt next which is a bit more sturdy.

Thanks David. I'm working on my guiding now to get tighter stars. I reckon I can get much better results with a bit of tweaking and some tilt too which I suspect are the paddle pop sticks I use to space the camera. . I got a little excited when the weather cleared and rushed a little into things to make it work.

Thanks mate. Looks like we might get some clear this week but the seeing's gone. Time to get those lenses out again.
