March Macros, Part 3: Geckos and a Frog

Here's the last of my March macros.

The first four are Asian House Geckos catching moths on my back deck, and the last one is an adult Eastern Sedgefrog (Litoria fallax).

All images taken using the Tamron 90 macro lens.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Gotta love those geckoes – since they arrived at our kitchen window a few years ago the cockroach population has plummeted. Lovely shots Stephen.

Cheers

Thanks very much Laurie, Carlos and Dennis!

I've always liked geckos, and have been meaning to try capturing with the macro lens for a while. As with all macro subjects, I was amazed by the amount of detail that the macro revealed. I particularly like the gecko with his tongue sticking out ( they don't stick them out for long!).

Cheers,
Stephen

These rock! Geckos are one my fav critters and these shots are just awesome. Love the shot of them both chomping on the moth at the same time, brilliant stuff
