Moon Spica Occultation 1am 29/3

Hi. Here's a quick image from early this morning(29/3) of the Moon Spica Occultation that never quite happened from my location. This was as close as Spica got.
Single image 1/320 exp, ISO-100.
8" f5 Newt-neq6 pro-500D.

Cheers.
Steve.

Ah, I missed it. It was at 2:09am at my place and the sky was clear apparently. Bummer.

Cheers
Steffen.

Next time Steffen. In my opinion, it looked better naked eye than through the scope. With the naked eye view, i could appreciate it more just how close together they were. And it's always good to then turn the scope toward it.

Thanks Dennis. I was happy with how it turned out. Might have had a good patch of seeing. I did try and take a longer exposure for Spica and the intentions were to layer the two but the image was a total wash out.
I did take approx 30 secs of video (about 1000 frames) to stack in AS!2 a bit later. I will be interested to see the difference if any in the two imaging styles.
