Saturn 1am Brisbane 17th March, Dobsonian and DSLR
Some nice seeing for Saturn this morning Canon EOS 600D video crop mode, 5x Powermate, 12" SkyWatcher Goto Dobsonian, manually tracked.
A muted Saturn and a more enhanced Saturn shown at 100% capture scale, cropped.
Update added a reduced size image using a Sigma2x teleconverter.
Pioufff It is really great shot and splendid result with EOS 600D. Me too, I can't beleive that you get better result that some others astronomers who use the camera Flea or DMK or Basler. This camera is very good to do video.
Congratulations about these stunning images.

Thankyou, everyone, very much for the kind and encouraging comments! I do like to get as much out of the equipment as possible. I have finished processing an image made using the above equipment as well as a Sigma 2x teleconverter. Total focal length on the EOS 600D is 15,000mm, centre crop. Here it is in its original capture size and in a slightly reduced size, which is now added to the original post. In editing these I made much use of successive gaussian blur then unsharp mask.

An outstanding result for any Camera / scope combination.
