Been working on some Astrofest data today trying to remember how to use PI. This is a combination of LRGB with some Ha and OIII blended in from last year. All up 64x5min subs.
Comments welcome.

Thanks Dave. I've been meaning to reprocess this for months but only got around to it today. Can't wait for the weather to improve. I'm planning to spend some time with the ED80 on some larger nebs next.
Are you making the trip north again this year?
Peter

Cheers Ross,
In hindsight I think I should have pushed the saturation up a bit.

That's a very fine rendition Peter!
It's not an easy target from Sydney and only a bit better from Brisbane I imagine. You are even beginning to see the faint outer extents. Good one.
Maybe would have been better to get some longer subs through the NB filters though. It would also be nice to see some more star colours.
Cheers, Marcus

Thanks Geoff. It's amazing how different it looks on our shared pc compared to my calibrated astro monitor.
