Panstarrs and Seal Island

Out again tonight, Not a cloud in sight but enough wind to knock your hat off.

Canon 650D 18mm @ F5.6 10 sec ISO 1600 on the IOptron Skytracker.

Low quality JPG to keep the size down.

Nice field. Love the color gradient. The framing is very IKEA. Flat horizon line, uniform color gradient. The comet is the cherry on the cake.

IKEA Normally I pull a few tricks in Photoshop but apart from the crop and some noise reduction this is out of the camera.

Attachment 134175Slightly enhanced version, Sky stacked 8 X 10secs, island layer shadows and highlights, Topaz denoise and Detail2.
