Coastal Sunrise

Couldnt sleep the other night, so tried spotting F6 lemmon with binos in LP sky but no success ? Sunrise not far away, so headed to the Goldcoast, Elephant Rock at Currumbin, Surf was up, Half waning moon and clearish skies ! Also had missplaced the Cable release, so had to operate at higher iso's and less than 30secs ! ! Captured a mix bag over a couple hours !
Hope it worth the Sqizz !

Appreciate you comments Laurie, Mike & Andy ! Glad it worth a look.
I did bump up the saturation a fair bit in the 3rd, as you may have noticed ! It was an attempt to seperate the wave action from the rest of water, a bit surreal but helps lead the eye into the distance, for me anyway !
AvagoodN !

That's some beautiful images Bob!

Nothing like having some water to shoot over.

Cheers,

Justin.

Cheers Roger, Took quite a few attempts, only having 30sec option left no room to capture the set (bigger)waves to push over that crevice & overflow onto the foreground rock shelf, bit hit & miss, finally It came off

Cheers Darren, as mentioned I hadn't the cable release and most likely been doing 2-3mins on low iso, might not have captured this effect if I had the caple

Appreciated Justin, Only a few small headlands with Rockshelfs here on the Gold Coast, nothing super spectacular, but attempting to make the most of what is around mate, cheers !
