Lemmon, SMC and 47Tuc.

Hi,

Busy last night taking wide fields, closeups, and experimenting with EQMOD for guiding.

First the widefield, 10 x 4 minutes ISO 800, canon 1100D 75 to 300mm zoom at 100mm f/5,a bit noisy hot last night.
The image is cropped.

Closeup. 8" f/4 astrograph. canon 1100D. 5 x 8minutes ISO 800. Guided with PHD on stars.

Still working on EQMOD.

Cheers,

Justin

keep it going - a malin in the making - fantastic opportunity well done. crud and showers has killed anything off for coastal NSW around the hunter for the next week. so your shots are gold

Wow!

Amazing photo Justin.

I saw in Starry Nights that Comet Lemmon, SMC and 47Tuc were going to be close on Tuesday/Wednesday but no luck with the weather over here.

That is one of the best comet photos I have seen.

Thanks.

Ross.

Another couple of beautiful images Justin! I had a go at a similar widefield last night, which I'll post shortly. It looked great through my 7x50s!

Cheers,
Stephen
