I enquired at the Bunnings store at Mile End in Adelaide yesterday. They said that they had 10 of the black ones in what they call "top stock", which means they have to get the fork lift guys to get it down overnight. I went in today to pick it up. Their price on system was $59.95, but when I went to pay for it they said that because it's a discontinued line they only charged me $32.00 for it!! Merry Christmas!!

I checked the size and they are bigger than the box my HEQ5Pro came in so I went to bunnings in Bella Vista. They had a pallet full of them (black I think).
I will now have a case for the HEQ5
Quickest trip to Bunnings ever. Walked into the store. Saw the pallet and sample immediately. Grabbed one to take to the checkout and as I walked past the tool section checkout the young lass said "I can do that for you". Did not even need to wait in a queue.

I thought better get my act together as I have been after one for my EQ6. Quickly popped in to Mile End Bunnings (thanks for the tip off Neil) and they had them marked down from $65 to $32 for clearance. At that price I grabbed two.
Cheers,
Daniel

OK, this may be a silly question, but what's the knob underneath the handle for? It screws right out and has "on" and "off" faintly printed on it along with direction arrows ...

I thought I would mention that these cases WILL fit a CGEM, but you need to remove all the lower padding.

The EQ6 Pro does not appear to fit. Close but I can't see any way to get it in neatly, possibly by tilting it out of the horizontal but I've not checked that.

The cases are airtight (or should be). If you close one at altitude and come down to sea level, you won't get it open without opening the vent hole.

Morwell Bunnings has 5 of these left after I bought one today - $65.
The foam is out in the car to de-tox for a week.

Bunnings, Midland, Perth, at least 20 of the large ones @$65 and about 10 of the 'small' ones (@ $25 i think). They also have the yellow ( kinchrome?) ones at higher prices ( one smaller than the large one from craft right and one slightly larger than the smallest one from craft right.........confusing ?.... figure it out )
Just FYI......
Cheers

I saw these on sale today at Bunnings Stafford in Brisbane.
It's dimensions are 515L x 435D x 225H.
Priced at $65.
I couldn't resist.
I don't know if this is a local sale or nationwide.
May pay to check your local Bunnings if you want one.
Cheers,
Ken.

FYI
Bunnings at Marion SA have these in stock again. Large is $65, Medium is $39.98.
I walked over to the SuperCheap Auto and they also have the same cases (4 sizes), under the SCA brand ranging from $15-$59.
OIC!
