Jupiter Feb2 fairly good seeing

Hi.

imaged through gaps in the clouds - the seeing was pretty good, so it was worth the frustration of ~30 second gaps and trying to get enough data to put the first image together. Later on, the clouds cleared for a few minutes, but the seeing had slightly dropped for the second image, with a change in colour balance/saturation as well. Altitudes were a bit above 30 degrees for both images.

there is a spectacular billowing disturbance extending northwards from the equator and seemingly cutting across part of the NEB. Very pleased to get such interesting data so late in the season.

thanks for looking. Ray

Thanks Matt - yeah, the second image was processed the same way, but the seeing had really fallen off in the blue and a bit in the green, so it was hard to even get it looking roughly similar to the earlier one

Thank you Ralph - the wine is about as variable as the seeing
