For you aviation buffs out there

I came across this site recently and downloaded a full version of their Shanghai flight. Although the language is in German/Swiss with subtitles, the actual content is in my opinion brilliant.

Thanks for that link Peter.

I actually own a number of ITVV DVDs that actually document a flight leg (or 2) from the cockpit, with the pilots explaining what's going on and what they are doing. They give an excellent insight into the job of an airline pilot.

My favourite one is aboard The Concorde London-New York and back.

Highly recommended!!

Another great one I have is Cathay 777 which features a pilot's eye view of the approach to the old Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong.

Now I'm just waiting while they film one in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner... No, wait!!!
