Now why didn't you go on Tibrogargan

Hmmm... we climbed Gnung Gnung as school kids... wonder how bad it'd be with a mount and scope up to the top for a night?

Mt Coolum would be GREAT up top for astro... just getting there.

Might talk to my helo mates and see if they can arrnage an air drop

Spectacular pics Bob! Brings back memories when I climbed it as a young kid during a primary school excursion back in 1982. Especially like the second pic!

A great series of photos. I like #1 and #4 the best. #4 in particular as I like the fact you got near and far in the same scene.

Greg.

Thanx Mike, Glass House Mnt's are very renowned for the scenery there, some good small Dams I visited have clear views for reflection of particular Mounts also ?

thanx Andy, my inlaws lived there and one family still do ? The 2nd capture was just after Sunrise when the Golden Sunlight just hit the taller tree tops, if taken any later, them trees would Not have been as isolated in the capture ! I was lucky to capture that moment in that Pano !

Glad you like it Ric, I almost deleted that composition as the low suburbian ground was almost Black, lucky I chose Raw so could process some highlights !

Cheers Greg, It was good to experiment with capturing some foreground, kinda puts the viewer on location to some degree ?
