IBM Watson learned to swear!

I got a big chuckle out of this article on IBM's Watson Computer....

It would have been interesting to be in the room when the first profanity laced responses came out.

I guess that this means Watson is a teenager...

That's prett funny. Probably every parent has experienced that moment one of the kids utter their first profanity pushing boundaries . Good to see tech is no different.

Revenge of the geeks

Oops! Whilst they had the Urban Dictionary loaded, surely it must have
been tempting for some researcher to have Watson cross that with a
knowledge of co-worker's biographies and that of their mothers and to then
generate the world's coolest list of targeted insults and comebacks,
just in case one ever takes a shot at you.

I was thinking along a very similar line...the fun that could have been had. How would you insult Watson in return?

snip "For now, Watson will keep doing what it's great at: Helping hospitals diagnose sick patients...."

I guess they didn't want it saying: "The patient is f////d".
